Names can be shared
Names help you find objects. They do not have to be unique. Use a plural lookup when more than one result is valid. Use a distinct name when a script expects one object.
IDs identify objects
Cell IDs and Actor IDs identify authored objects. Entity IDs identify live runtime Entities. Do not use an Actor ID with entity.get().
Bindings use authored IDs rather than names. See Script bindings.
UI keys
UI script keys are separate from display names. See UI lookup. For all lookup choices, see Finding Objects.
